Thankful Thursday!

Things I am THANKFUL for:

- A WORKING i-pod! Mine didn't work for my last long run. It wouldn't even turn on! I can't explain the loneliness experienced when it's 5 a.m., dark, and you know you have 13 miles to run without any music! NOT FUN!

- Thankful for Lesley! She bailed me out of loneliness and struck up a conversation a couple miles into our run. I know she'd rather just run and listen to her music, but being the awesome friend that she is, she gave up her music and we talked the rest of the way. I'm not sure I could have made it 13 miles without her! Les has kept me going run after run after run. Thanks Les! Only about a week left! Can you BELIEVE it?!
- Thankful there are still 8days21hours29mins.30secs. until the Marathon! I was just on the Marathon website and when I saw their countdown, the 8days21hours29mins.30secs., my heart skipped a beat and I got a knot in my stomach. I can't believe the marathon is almost here. Hopefully I'm ready!- So thankful for Suni - the best trainer in the whole wide world! Suni has made me stronger physically and mentally. She has helped me realize that I can do a lot more than I ever thought I could. She is an amazing person, a fantastic trainer, and a FAB friend!! (Suni is also responsible for motivating Paul to accomplish what he has the past few months!) Thank you Suni! - Thankful for Inta Juice smoothies with 2 scoops of protein! YUM! YUM! YUM! My fav. flavors - Sunset Beach and Caribbean Blend. And, if I'm wanting chocolate, the Choc-o-Nutter smoothie is super tasty!

- Thankful to own the Nissan All Weather floor mats that were made to fit perfectly in our Quest. When Hailey spilled (purposely THREW) an entire apple juice slush in the car the other day I didn't even think or say any bad words! I knew I could just spray them off when I got home! And I did! They cleaned right up...then I let them dry in the sun and back into the car they went! So grateful!! (When will I learn that it's never a good idea to give a 17-month old her own slush in the car?!)

- Last but not least, I am so grateful that my kids have such WONDERFUL, AMAZING, DEDICATED school teachers this year. We have been so lucky in the teacher dept. I am so grateful that there are teachers like Mrs. Rees and Ms. Godfrey out there to teach my children! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
