Lake Powell Trip 2008
Our annual family trip to Lake Powell has come and gone until next year! We love Lake Powell and always have soooo much fun on the house boat. This year Hailey was actually old enough to enjoy the lake. She has just begun walking though, and there were lots of obstacles to walk around on the house boat. Within hours of being out there she tripped and hit her cheek on a metal edge...thus the big black and blue bruise on her face - the joys of learning to walk!
Other than millions of gnats, lots of weeds and gunk floating in the water, and trying to comfortably fit 20 people on a house boat, we had a FABULOUS time!

3. Sydney water skiing
4. Sydney riding the tube with her thumb up the whole time
(you couldn't drive fast enough)!
5. Sydney jumping off the top of the house boat
6. Hailey's nasty bruise from the tumble she took
7. Loads of good food and snacks! Everything tastes sooo good at the lake!
8. Climbing the sand hill in the cove! HOT! HOT! HOT! But also good exercise!!
9. THE WIND! Wind is never a good thing at the lake.
10. Being with family - it's the BEST!
We look forward to next year at Lake Powell! We love going out there. It's always nice to come home and sleep in your own bed, shower in clean water, etc. but we wouldn't trade our time out at the lake for anything. The memories are PRICELESS!

Hi!!! I have been wondering FOREEVER if you guys have a blog! Just today Heather told me you did. I'm so glad! We can keep in touch so easy now. Hope all is good with you guys. The lake trip sounded fun. I can't believe Haley is over a year now! We definetly don't see eachother enough. I'm having my baby on Tuesday. Wish me luck! Love ya!!
