2 Thumbs Up!
Well, like I said, I couldn't wait to see The Secret Life of Bees. I went to it this evening - and I have to say, it didn't disappoint! Movies are never quite as good as the actual book, but this movie was really good...almost exactly as I had pictured it in my mind as I read it. If you've read the book I would say it's a definite MUST SEE! Take lots of tissue! Loved it...

Thanks for the movie review! I'm never sure, after reading a book, whether to see the movie or not.
I totally agree-wasn't it great. I ended up going again later on in the week and liked it just as much the second time through.
I have had this book on my to-read-list forever. Now I totally will, and of course, WILL NOT see the movie until I do read it!
