Easter '09!

Easter has to be my most favorite Holiday! I love it. I love the spring weather, the plastic eggs, the picnics, new Easter dresses, etc. We had such a great time with family and friends over Easter weekend. This year, Paul and I decided to take our kids to the city's egg hunt at Vernon Worthen park. I have many memories going to the Easter egg hunt there as a child and thought it would be fun for our kids to experience it. We had a good time, but there was a constant drizzle of rain the whole time we were there. By the time we got home we were a soggy mess. It was fun anyways and the kids seemed to enjoy it as much as I remember enjoying it as a child.

At the Vernon Worthen Park, Hailey and Syd ended up with a basket full of treats and prizes. McKay on the other hand, ended up with 1 egg. That's right, 1!! Kind of funny. His age group was pretty competitive and McKay just isn't. SO - the girls shared with him and all was well...
